What We Do

Jon "Jay" Duvall, a graduate of VA TECH School of Architecture, began Jon Duvall Design & Construction Management, Inc. in 1992. The company is founded on his belief that design skills inspire innovation in building craft just as the craft of building inspires innovation in design. Jon C Duvall Design & Construction utilizes the integration of the PROCESS of design together with the PROCESS of building to create custom buildings and custom homes that are reflections of the soul of a family, community and time.

We are committed to designs that reflect regionalism, to the use of timeless and local materials which are inherently sustainable, and to the resulting value for our clients whether for new home construction or home renovation and restoration.

Value today also means incorporating Energy Efficient construction and products, minimizing waste, minimizing transportation costs and remaining on the forefront of technological innovations. We promote the incorporation of alternative energy options for mechanical and electrical systems. We understand the critical nature of alternative energy options to comfort and security for our clients and the future viability for our buildings.
